Head Circumference: 17 inches (4.94%)

He's healthy and the doctor has no concerns.

New this month: Ryland crawls all over the place.  He especially likes to crawl to wherever Mommy is (he's gotten a little "clingy" with Mommy...if he sees me or hears my voice, he fusses for me to hold him...hopefully this stage of "separation anxiety" will be a short-lived one).  If his teddy bear is on the floor, he will often hold it in his hand as he crawls.  The bear gets washed often...it's gonna get all ragged before Ryland is ready to give it up!  He pulls himself to a kneeling position easily.  We lowered his crib mattress to the second position this month.  Ryland has grown two teeth so far, and is eating more and more foods.  Added to his diet this month:  chicken, peaches, blueberries, raspberries, white grape juice, yogurt, cheerios, little puffs, yogurt bites, and baby crackers.  His favorite toys include his "spiky" ball (still quite fond of that one), nesting blocks and nesting balls, and small board books...not to mention telephones, remote controls, daddy's laptop, mommy's camera, car keys, the mail...
