He's starting to sit up almost on his own.  He rolls from his back to his stomach, but usually gets stuck there.  He seems to prefer the excersaucer over the playmat now.  He'll also play in the jump-a-roo, but for limited times...he will straighten his legs to stand, but hasn't discovered the joy of jumping yet.  He eats oatmeal and rice cereal, but still fills up on breast milk and formula.  He wears most of his 3-6 mo clothes now, but still has quite a few 0-3 mo clothes that fit.  He sleeps 7-8 hours a night, with the occasional need for a pat on the back and a pacifier reclaimed.  He loves to be outside...in the heat, in the rain, in the dark, you name it.  He loves to get wet, too...in the shower or bathtub, in the swimming pool, in the rain, etc.  Ryland smiles and giggles are not hard to come by these days, as he finds almost everything funny.

Ryland will be almost 7 months old when he has his next doctor visit and gets updated stats...we're sure to see growth in numbers, then!
