He is laughing more and more...at anything and everything.  He still loves to play on his playmat with the mirror above him, and now enjoys the musical light toy that activates when he kicks his legs.  The ceiling fan is a favorite friend quite often, too.  He still does not like being put on his tummy, but definitely likes sitting up (with support of course).  He will still sit in his vibrating rocking chair sometimes, but has pretty much decided the swing is too confining for him.  Just in the last two weeks, Ryland has started sleeping 5 1/2 - 6 hrs at night.  He generally takes three naps a day, two 2 1/2 - 3 hrs ones and one 45 min - 1 hr.  He loves his bath, but also likes to go into the hot shower with Mommy for a few minutes to clear out his stuffy nose.  He's pretty tolerant of getting his nails trimmed, his snot sucked, his face and hands washed, etc. as long as he can hear the water in the sink running during the process.  We are sad to see the newborn period pass, but are excited to enter into a more interactive stage of growth.  He's been lots of fun, and we thank God for the blessing Ryland has been and is in our family.
